Elements - Seahorses and Grass

11/19/09 - These little guys are nestled in the bottom left hand corner. I'm working on adding more grass and weaving the water in between the strands.  This is a time consuming area, but worth the effort.

School of Fish

9/15/09 - Notice the foil effect under the cathedral glass on the fish tails.

5/21/09 - There's been a lot going on behind the scenes, as far as design and colors go; but yes, I have finally begun to cut some tile!  I'm beginning this piece of wall art with the middle school of fish. Each eye has a millefiori bead.  A perfect use for that item. Each eye gives each fish a different expression. I'm still working on how to finish off  the tails.  Next the Trigger fish!

My studio is in my home and my garden is a part of me and my art. When not doing mosaic, I plant plants, move plants, kill plants, smell plants, take photos of plants and enjoy the habitat I've created.  Right now it's spring. I turned, and a baby blue jay was right next to me. See the down on his under belly?  I ran to get my camera.  It's rare to see baby blue jays until they are much larger.
