| 1/6/06 - Step 1: I've covered
the foundation with cement
mixture to aid adhesion to wood. I've added cement backer board as
the top. It's now 1/22. Off to a slow start.
As you can see, my yellows, Oranges and reds have evolved into blues
and greens. Sometimes it's really nice just to go along and combine
colors that appeal to you. It's very freeing not to have an exact
design in mind. So relaxing too.
I love the bird I will be attaching.

1/22/06 - Left side: I'm taking more
liberty than usual with this project since this one's for me. Broken
pieces of pottery (that I loved whole) have been incorporated.
The top edge is rimmed in stained glass.
In the bottom right hand corner is a glass witch ball with the
top intact for me to hang a small, tiny chime from. |
1/29/06 - I've updated front photo and also the
one above.
I've attached a small vase to put some flowers in just for color and
whimsy.
See finished project soon.
I'll be grouting as soon as it warms up. Too cold!
2/15/06 - Still too cold!
